Avocado in this recipe brings extra creaminess and compliments mayonnaise and mustard in creating the perfect dressing to this keto-friendly salad.

Ingredients:

  • 3.5oz/100g tuna, canned, with oil
  • 1 medium stalk celery, chopped 
  • 1 cup lettuce, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp chives, fresh, chopped 
  • 1 medium avocado, chopped 
  • 1½ tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 pinch Italian seasoning 
  • 1 tsp mustard 
  • 1 cup cucumber, chopped 
  • 1 pinch onion powder 
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, salt, onion powder, and ground black pepper for the sauce. 
  2. In the mixing bowl, add cucumber, avocado, chives, lettuce, celery, and tuna. Pour over the sauce and give it a mix. 
  3. In a serving bowl, serve salad and enjoy!
