Tofu Scramble with Almond Milk Recipe

Those are the keywords we are looking when talking about scramble, and doesn’t even matter its egg or tofu scramble. Almond milk its what makes the difference between a silky, creamy scramble and dry one!

Ingredients:

  • ⅓ cup tofu, crumbled 
  • ⅓ cup almond milk, unsweetened 
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 pinch ground turmeric
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped 
  • 1 tsp nutritional yeast 
  • 2 tsp olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a nonstick frying pan over medium-high heat. 
  2. Add tofu and fry for 6-8 min stirring frequently. Add ground turmeric and nutritional yeast. 
  3. Then pour almond milk, stirring frequently, and cook for about 6 min until most of the milk has been absorbed and tofu becomes slightly creamy. 
  4. Season with salt and ground black pepper. Garnish with chives and enjoy!
