Tofu and Broccoli Stir-Fry Recipe

This tofu and broccoli stir-fry has the perfect umami flavor for those following a plant-based keto diet. Add some broccoli, and you have the perfect dish to cover your nutritional needs.

Ingredients: 

  • 170g/6oz tofu
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1½ tbsp tamari
  • 2 pinches salt
  • 2 pinches ground black pepper
  • 1½ cup broccoli, florets
  • 2 pinches smoked paprika
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions: 

  1. Chop the tofu into even cubes and mix it together in a bowl with tamari sauce, a pinch of smoked paprika, salt, and ground black pepper.
  2. Heat half of the olive oil in a pan on medium heat. Add minced garlic and fry for 30 seconds. Then, add tofu cubes and fry for 2–3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Remove from the pan.
  3. Add the remaining olive oil and broccoli into the same pan and season with a pinch of salt, ground black pepper, and smoked paprika. Stir-fry for 5–6 minutes or until lightly browned and tender.
  4. Serve the tofu and broccoli in a bowl. Drizzle with lemon juice. Enjoy!

*NOTE: Feel free to use frozen broccoli.
