Inspired Soft Scrambled Tofu Recipe

We encourage you to try our twist on this scrambled tofu by adding soy sauce and turmeric.

Ingredients:

  • 1 block extra-firm tofu, pressed and crumbled 
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1 tablespoon yellow onion, diced 
  • 1 garlic clove, minced 
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • Salt and ground black pepper, to taste 
  • 3 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce 
  • 1 small sliced tomato

Instructions:

  1. Heat the avocado oil in a skillet over medium heat. 
  2. Add the crumbled tofu, onion, and garlic.
  3. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in turmeric, salt, ground black pepper, and nutritional yeast.
  5. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  6. Mix in the soy sauce and cook until heated through. 
  7. Serve scrambled tofu with sliced tomatoes.
