Sirloin Steak in the Oven Recipe

For one serving, you will need:

  • 5oz/140g sirloin steak
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tbsp butter 
  • 2 large rosemary sprigs
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F/190°C. 
  2. Season the sirloin steak with salt and pepper. Note that sea salt might provide an extra flavor. 
  3. Place an iron skillet on medium/high heat. Add the avocado oil and heat for a couple of minutes. 
  4. Place the sirloin steak on top of the oil and sear for 2–3 minutes on each side. 
  5. Turn off the burner and add the butter and garlic. 
  6. Add the rosemary sprigs on top of the steak and place the skillet in the oven to cook for 5–8 minutes. 
  7. Once it cooks, place it on your plate and enjoy.
