Sesame Beef Filet With Vegetables Recipe

Ingredients: 

  • 1 small cucumber, sliced 
  • ½ cup spinach 
  • 3 medium radishes, sliced
  • 1½ tbsp olive oil 
  • ½ cup arugula leaves
  • 2 pinches salt 
  • 2 pinches ground black pepper 
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 110g/3.8oz beef filet, raw  
  • 1 pinch chili powder
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 pinch dried oregano
  • ¼ small red onion, sliced

Instructions: 

  1. Season beef filet with a pinch of salt, a pinch of ground black pepper, and chili powder (optional).
  2. Heat half of the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the beef filet and cook for 2–3 minutes on both sides or until the desired doneness. Leave to rest on a board or warm plate for about 5 minutes, then cut into slices.
  3. Meanwhile, mix together the remaining olive oil, lemon juice, ground black pepper, oregano, and salt in a small bowl.
  4. Assemble spinach, arugula leaves, cilantro, red onion, radishes, cucumber, and beef filet slices on a plate. Sprinkle beef filet with sesame seeds. Drizzle the vegetables with the lemon dressing and toss gently. Enjoy!
