Salmon With Bell Pepper Recipe

Rich in fat, protein, and omega-3 fatty acids, this superfood makes for a light yet satisfying meal.

Ingredients:

  • 3.9oz/110g salmon filet, raw 
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1½ tbsp olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 small bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 pinch ground paprika

Instructions: 

  1. Season salmon filet with salt, minced garlic, ground paprika, and ground black pepper. 
  2. Heat olive oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Add chopped bell pepper and sauté, stirring and turning frequently, until the pepper skins start to blister and turn brown in spots. Move bell pepper to one side of the pan. 
  3. Place salmon filet on the other side of the pan and fry for 3–4 minutes until crisp. Flip over, lower the heat, and cook for 2–3 minutes more, then drizzle with lemon juice. 
  4. Transfer the salmon and bell pepper to a plate. Enjoy!
