Salmon With Avocado Tomato Salsa Recipe

This is one of the best ways to get the most out of salmon and is perfect for a more satisfying dinner with plenty of protein, fats, and micronutrients.

Ingredients:

  • 115g/4oz salmon filet, raw
  • 1 small tomato, chopped
  • 1 avocado, chopped
  • 1½ tbsp olive oil
  • 2 pinches salt
  • 2 pinches ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2½ tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Season the salmon with a pinch of salt and a pinch of ground black pepper.
  2. Heat half the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the seasoned salmon to the pan and cook for 4–5 minutes on each side until the salmon is nicely browned. The salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork.
  3. Meanwhile, in a bowl, mix together avocado, lemon juice, tomato, cilantro, a pinch of ground black pepper, salt, and the remaining olive oil.
  4. Serve the salmon on a plate with avocado and tomato salsa. Enjoy!
