It’s a low-carb take on the classic fish taco, and you’ll love it even more if you haven’t tried riced cauliflower yet.

Ingredients:

For the fish:

  • 1 cod filet
  • Cumin
  • Salt
  • Cayenne powder
  • Garlic powder
  • Avocado oil

For the sauce:

  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp hot sauce
  • 1/2 tsp lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

For the bowl:

  • 1 cup riced cauliflower, cooked
  • Chopped cilantro
  • Red cabbage, chopped
  • 1/2 small red onion, sliced
  • 1 avocado, sliced

Instructions:

  1. Dry the fish and coat it with spices and salt. Smoked salmon is a good alternative if cod isn’t available.
  2. Add oil to a pan on medium heat.
  3. Once hot, cook fish on each side for 3 minutes until flaky.
  4. Mix all the sauce ingredients in another bowl.
  5. In a bowl, serve riced cauliflower as a base. Add the fish, and arrange the cabbage, onion, and avocado around it. Sprinkle with cilantro.
  6. Drizzle the sauce over the bowls.
