Tuna is a perfect low-cost keto-friendly food, and this meal is an easy keto snack for protein and fats with plenty of veggies.
It’s a convenient and fresh way to eat tuna that brings you all the benefits in a short prep time and at a very low cost-per-serving.
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp red onion, chopped
- 6 leaves of lettuce
- ½ small cucumber, chopped
- 1 medium avocado, chopped
- 1½ tbsp olive oil
- 115g/4oz tuna, canned in water
- ½ small bell pepper, chopped
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- ½ tbsp lemon juice

Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix together canned and drained tuna with chopped red onion, cucumber, bell pepper, avocado, and olive oil.
- Divide the mixture into the lettuce leaves.
- Season with salt and ground black pepper. Drizzle with lemon juice. Adjust the seasoning to taste, or use other favorite spices instead. Enjoy!
