Lemon Butter Salmon Recipe

Ingredients: 

  • ½ tbsp olive oil
  • 4oz/115g salmon filet (skinned or skinless)
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp lemon zest
  • 2 slices lemon
  • 1 tsp parsley

Instructions:

  1. Rub olive oil on both sides of the filet and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook for about 2–3 minutes on each side in a heavy pan or until tender. 
  3. You can also grill or bake the fish. 
  4. Remove the salmon from the pan.
  5. While the pan is still hot, melt the butter. Mix in lemon juice and lemon zest.
  6. Put the salmon back in the pan on the heat, turn it once to heat through, and blend the flavors. 
  7. Serve garnished with lemon slices and parsley.
