A poke bowl is a great way to highlight fish, and this recipe features salted salmon, lots of vegetables, and a tangy dressing made from sriracha and mayo.

Ingredients:

  • Salted salmon, cubed
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp tamari sauce
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced
  • 1 radish, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cucumber, sliced
  • 1 cup red cabbage, shredded
  • Mayonnaise
  • Hot sauce, preferably sriracha
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Sesame seeds
  • Wakame (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix the mayo and sriracha.
  2. In another bowl, mix your salmon cubes, sesame oil, a little sriracha, salt, black pepper, and tamari sauce. If possible, marinate in the fridge for 20 minutes.
  3. In the final bowl, add the cabbage, avocado, radish, and cucumber slices.
  4. Add the salmon cubes on top of the base.
  5. Dress with spicy mayo and add sesame seeds.
