For the entire recipe, 4 servings, you’ll need:
- 1lb/450g lean ground beef
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- ½ onion, chopped
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp brandy
- 1 tbsp beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup full-fat sour cream
- ½ tsp nutmeg, grated
- 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste

Here is how you prepare it:
- Heat a pan over medium heat. Add the butter and let it melt.
- Once it melts, add the mushrooms and cook them for 2–3 minutes or until they are browned.
- Add the onions and saute until they are golden brown.
- In another pan, add the beef to the pan and break it into small pieces. Cook until it’s fully cooked.
- Add the brandy, broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix thoroughly.
- Once the meat cooks, add the mushrooms to the meat pan.
- Sprinkle the nutmeg on top of the meat.
- Add the cream cheese and stir until it is fully melted.
- Stir in the sour cream and let it simmer.
- Stir in the parsley, salt, and pepper.
