You can add berries or seeds as toppings to complete this recipe to your taste.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup milk, unsweetened, almond or coconut
  • ¼ cup seeds, chia or pumpkin
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt
  • ½ cup berries
  • 2 tbsp chopped almonds
  • 1 tbsp sunflower seeds

How to prepare:

  1. Combine the milk, seeds (chia or pumpkin), flaxseed, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until everything is evenly combined.
  2. Let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes.
  3. If you’re short on time, microwave it for 2–3 minutes. Otherwise, you can cook the porridge on the stovetop over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
  4. Once the porridge is cooked, add toppings.
