Grilled Chicken With Avocado and Tomatoes Recipe

 It provides only 7g of net carbohydrates and has a high fat content to keep you in ketosis.

Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup lettuce, chopped 
  • 1 small avocado 
  • tbsp olive oil 
  • 1 pinch salt 
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper 
  • 1 pinch oregano, dried 
  • 1 cup cherry tomato, quarters 
  • 3.5oz/100g chicken breast, raw 
  • 2 tbsp basil, fresh, chopped 
  • 1 pinch basil, dried

Instructions: 

  1. Combine salt, ground black pepper, and dried oregano with most of the olive oil in a bowl. Add the chicken breast filet and toss well to combine. 
  2. Preheat a grill or a grill pan to medium-high heat. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for 3–4 minutes. Flip over and cook for an additional 3–4 minutes or until cooked through and no longer pink inside. Let the chicken breast filet rest for 3–5 minutes before slicing.
  3. Add lettuce, sliced avocado, and cherry tomatoes to a plate. Sprinkle with chopped basil and drizzle the remaining olive oil over the tomatoes. Add sliced chicken on top. Season with dried basil, and enjoy!
