Fried Tofu With Almonds Recipe

Add sauce and seasonings, and you’ll have a savory snack done in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • ¾ cup tofu, cubes 
  • 1½ tsp sesame seeds 
  • 1½ tbsp olive oil 
  • 1 tbsp unsalted almonds, chopped 
  • 1 tsp water 
  • Salt and pepper, to taste 
  • 1 pinch garlic powder 
  • 1 tbsp tamari 
  • ½ small cucumber, sliced

How to prepare:

  1. In a bowl, mix together tamari sauce, water, salt, sesame seeds, ground black pepper, and garlic powder. Set aside. 
  2. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. 
  3. Add tofu cubes and cook for 2–3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy. 
  4. Add finely chopped almonds to the pan and cook on high heat for 1–2 minutes with the tofu. 
  5. Pour the sauce into the pan. Stir well and simmer for 1–2 minutes. 
  6. Place everything in a bowl and serve with sliced cucumber on the side. Enjoy!
