Egg Wrap with Mozzarella and Ham Recipe

Try out this made in heaven duet of ham and mozzarella topped with fresh greens. Best part about this recipe, that you can switch a few of the filling ingredients and you have another brand new recipe to try out.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium eggs
  • ⅓ cup sliced tomato
  • 1 tbsp olive oil 
  • 1 slice ham 
  • 2 handful arugula leaves 
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 pinches garlic powder 
  • 2 pinches oregano, dried
  • 30g mozzarella cheese, whole-milk 

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, whisk the eggs and season with a pinch of salt, ground black pepper, garlic powder, and dried oregano.
  2. In a non-stick frying pan, heat the olive oil to medium heat. Add the eggs, and move them around to cover the bottom of the pan. Cook for 1–2min or until the eggs are almost set, then add thinly sliced mozzarella cheese and cook for another 1–2min or until the cheese is melted. 
  3. Take the eggs from the pan and place them on a serving plate. 
  4. On the eggs, place arugula leaves, tomatoes, and thinly sliced ham, and season everything with salt, ground black pepper, and garlic powder. 
  5. Roll the egg wrap up and enjoy!
