Baked Pork Chops With Asparagus Recipe

This is a well-balanced meal that provides satisfaction and a ton of protein. 

Ingredients:

  • 110g/3.9oz pork chops, raw
  • 2 pinches salt
  • 2 pinches ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 11 asparagus spears, medium
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 pinches rosemary, dried

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F/190°C. Season the pork chops with salt and ground black pepper.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter with rosemary and garlic. Set aside.
  3. Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat, then add the pork chops. Sear until golden, for about 4 minutes on each side. Brush pork chops generously with prepared garlic butter.
  4. Cut off and discard the woody ends of the asparagus and add them to the skillet with the pork chops.
  5. Place the skillet in the oven and cook for about 8–10 minutes or until cooked through. Serve with the remaining garlic butter, and enjoy!

*NOTE: Feel free to use frozen vegetables.
