Creamy pasta sauces can be enjoyed on the keto diet. Replace your spaghetti with zucchini noodles for a heavenly low-carb, creamy dish with the sharp flavor of parmesan cheese sprinkled on top.
Ingredients:
- ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1½ tbsp olive oil
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- 1 pinch garlic powder
- 1 large zucchini
- 3 tbsp cream cheese, 34% fat
- 6 leaves fresh basil
- Salt, to taste

Instructions:
- Cut zucchini into thin, noodle-like strips, or use a vegetable spiralizer.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add zucchini noodles and garlic powder, and cook for 3–5 minutes, until tender.
- Add cream cheese, parmesan cheese, ground black pepper, and a little bit of water (about 3–4 tablespoons). Stir well.
- Serve on a plate. Garnish with basil leaves. Enjoy!
