A baked egg breakfast is easy to make if you're cooking a weekend brunch for a crowd. Just cook the ham, eggs, and cheese in a casserole dish and serve your hungry guests with a fresh tomato salad.
A baked egg breakfast is easy to make if you're cooking a weekend brunch for a crowd. Just cook the ham, eggs, and cheese in a casserole dish and serve your hungry guests with a fresh tomato salad.
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 3.5oz/100g sliced ham steak
- 8 large eggs
- 6oz/170g shredded cheese
- ½ tsp garlic flakes, dried
- ½ tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400℉ (200℃).
- Pour the olive oil into the base of a medium-sized casserole dish.
- Cut the ham steak into bite-sized pieces, place it in the bottom of the casserole dish, and place it in the oven for 30 minutes.
- Break the eggs on top of the ham steak pieces, and bake for 25 minutes or until the whites are set and the yolks are soft.
- Season with salt, pepper, garlic flakes, and onion powder, and then top with the shredded cheese. Bake for another 5 minutes and serve immediately.
- Top with everything bagel seasoning and serve immediately.
