Get your mouth watering with a perfectly seared salmon filet seasoned with salt or pepper or spiced up with your choice of herbs and spices.
Serve with a zesty low-carb salad of spinach and tomatoes for the perfect quick meal full of healthy fats.
Ingredients:
- 1½ cup spinach
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 7 medium cherry tomatoes, halved
- 145g/5oz salmon filet, raw
- 3 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions:
- In a bowl, combine half of the olive oil, garlic, salt, and ground black pepper. Add salmon filet and toss well.
- Heat a grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat. Place salmon and grill for about 3–4 minutes on each side.
- Meanwhile, in a bowl, mix together the remaining olive oil and lemon juice.
- On a serving plate, arrange spinach, cherry tomatoes, and the salmon filet. Drizzle with the olive oil mixture, and enjoy!
*NOTE: Feel free to adjust the seasoning to your taste or use your favorite spices instead.
