Keto Meatballs Recipe

You can meal prep them and place them in the freezer to cook at any other time.

For the entire recipe, 6 servings, you’ll need:

  • 1lb/450g ground turkey
  • 1 large egg 
  • ½ onion, chopped
  • ½ bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cup marinara sauce (sugar-free)

Instructions: 

  1. In a mixing bowl, place all the ingredients (except the oil and marinara sauce) and mix them thoroughly. You can use your hand to mix them well. 
  2. Grab a couple of tablespoons of meat and place them in your hand. Roll them out and place them in a bowl. 
  3. Place a pan over medium heat and add the oil. Place the meatballs and cook for 4–5 minutes, turning them regularly until they are brown. Don’t cook them fully. 
  4. In another pan, add the marinara sauce to medium heat. Once it bubbles, turn the heat to low.
  5. Add the meatballs and cook them in the marinara sauce for 5–8 more minutes. 
  6. Remove the meatballs and the sauce from the heat. 
  7. Place them on your plate and enjoy them with some zucchini noodles.
