Crunchy, nutty almonds go perfectly with fried tofu.
Add sauce and seasonings, and you’ll have a savory snack done in just 15 minutes.
Ingredients:
- ¾ cup tofu, cubes
- 1½ tsp sesame seeds
- 1½ tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp unsalted almonds, chopped
- 1 tsp water
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 pinch garlic powder
- 1 tbsp tamari
- ½ small cucumber, sliced

How to prepare:
- In a bowl, mix together tamari sauce, water, salt, sesame seeds, ground black pepper, and garlic powder. Set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Add tofu cubes and cook for 2–3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
- Add finely chopped almonds to the pan and cook on high heat for 1–2 minutes with the tofu.
- Pour the sauce into the pan. Stir well and simmer for 1–2 minutes.
- Place everything in a bowl and serve with sliced cucumber on the side. Enjoy!
