Tofu Salad With Sesame Dressing Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup mixed salad leaves 
  • 1 medium bell pepper 
  • ¾ cup tofu, chopped
  • 1½ tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil 
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds
  • ½ tsp fresh ginger root, grated
  • Ground black pepper, to taste

How to prepare:

  1. Mix tofu with 1 tbsp of soy sauce and olive oil to marinate it. Put the tofu in the fridge for at least 20 minutes, or up to 4 hours, before cooking. 
  2. Preheat the oven to 400ºF/200°C. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
  3. Place the tofu on the baking sheet and bake for about 15–20 minutes until golden and firm. 
  4. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix freshly grated ginger, the remaining soy sauce, sesame oil, ground black pepper, and sesame seeds to prepare the dressing.
  5. On a serving plate, add mixed salad leaves, finely chopped pepper, and tofu. Drizzle with the dressing, and mix to combine. Enjoy!
