Remove from the pan.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add the onion, garlic, thyme, chopped mushroom stem, and mushroom gills to the pan and cook until the onion is soft.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cut the sausage into small bite-sized pieces and return them to the pan. Remove the thyme and stir to combine the sausage, onion, and mushroom. Season to taste with salt and pepper.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cover the bottom of the inside of the mushroom with mozzarella cheese and spoon the sausage mixture over it.
